Sunday service in remembrance of the Queen

On the death of Queen Elizabeth II 1926 – 2022
 
There will be a service at St Francis Church, Beckingham Road 10.00am, Sunday 11th September
We will give thanks for the life of our Queen , pray for her and for our new King, Charles III.
 
There is a book of Condolences in the narthex of the church, do please come and sign it.
 
For Queen Elizabeth II
Gracious God,
We give thanks for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
For her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
And may her example continue to inspire us.
Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord,
Amen
 
 
For Charles III
Everlasting God,
We pray for our new King, Charles III.
Bless his reign and the life of our nation.
Help us to work together
So that truth and justice, harmony and fairness
flourish among us.
